About Alimad

Alimad’s story begins in Brussels in 1985 with its first product: lemon water. This simple yet authentic product laid the foundations for what would become the company’s signature: high-quality ingredients for cooking and baking.

Faced with the success of our first products, the range expanded with two iconic references: Orange Blossom Water and Rose Water.
These products quickly became essential ingredients in pastry-making and traditional cuisine, helping to build Alimad’s reputation among distributors and professionals.

At the request of our clients, we introduced glucose syrup, an essential ingredient for pastry-making, confectionery and cooking. This product naturally complements our range and strengthens Alimad’s position as a partner for food professionals.

To meet steadily growing demand, Alimad leaves Brussels and moves to a new production site in Ghislenghien.

As part of an innovation-driven approach and to meet new market expectations, Alimad launches a new range of food flavours and colourings. These products complement our offering for pastry-making, cooking and beverages.

In 2025, the company enters a new phase in its history with the acquisition of the business by Geoffrey, a young entrepreneur passionate about the company’s products and values. His ambition is to continue developing Alimad with the team, strengthen its international presence, and keep innovating while preserving the company’s DNA.
